Hapinoy Receives the Best in Women's Micro-entrepreneurship Promotions 2018 Award

Hapinoy bags the Best in Women’s Micro-entrepreneurship Promotions 2018 award in the 2018 Philippine Business Awards. As part of the APAC Insider Awards, the 2018 Philippine Business Awards recognizes the leading entrepreneurs and members of the business industry in the country whose vision is to create and to provide the best products and services to their respective customers.

Among the 18 business ventures that are acknowledged in the Philippines by the APAC Insider this year, Hapinoy is recognized for its mission and vision for Filipino sari-sari store owners, who are mostly women micro-entrepreneurs. As a social enterprise, it aims to equip, provide new opportunities for growing their businesses, and help them build relationships with one another. Since 2007, Hapinoy partners with these micro-entrepreneurs, whom they call Hapinoy Negosyantes, in serving their communities with quality goods and services through their own retail shops. Today, Hapinoy has been conducting its programs in Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Quezon, Bulacan, Samar and Leyte.

Hapinoy continuously partners with sari-sari store owners around the country by providing opportunities for them to grow and develop. Together with the community of Hapinoy Negosyantes, Hapinoy aims to level up Filipino sari-sari store owners by empowering them as micro-entrepreneurs to better serve their families and communities.
