Healthcare Services for Hapinoy Negosyantes
To be the ideal partner or “katuwang” of sari-sari store owners has always been the heart of Hapinoy. More than helping them improve their income and stores, Hapinoy extends its hand by providing access to health products and services through the Samahang Hapinoy Card, Hapinoy’s membership card for sari-sari store owners.
Recently, Hapinoy partnered with FamilyDOC and Generika Drugstore, which are both under Ayala Healthcare Holdings Inc., as part of its Samahang Hapinoy program. With this partnership, sari-sari store owners can now get discounts from FamilyDOC and selected branches of Generika Drugstore.
Last April 24, 2019, Mark Ruiz (middle-right), the president of Hapinoy and Paolo Borromeo (middle-left), the president and CEO of AC Health together with Dino Francisco (rightmost), the president and CEO of Generika Drugstore, and Raymund Paul Darroca (leftmost), the General Manager of FamilyDOC formally announced their partnership during the ceremonial signing in Makati City.

This mindset encouraged us to create this mutually beneficial arrangement between our (Hapinoy) Negosyantes and partner establishments; our sari-sari store owners are able to get benefits and promotions from our partners and our partners in turn are able to gain new customers and generate more business.”, Mark Ruiz, President of Hapinoy, shared.
By presenting the Samahang Hapinoy Card, sari-sari store owners can now have their first consultation in FamilyDOC for free and get discounts on laboratory and imaging services. Offering these benefits is also part of FamilyDOC’s efforts to continuously increase the awareness of healthcare services that they provide in the communities. Meanwhile, Generika Drugstore offers a 5% discount to Samahang Hapinoy Card owners in the following branches: Galas, Culiat, and Holy Spirit, Quezon City.
Hapinoy also collaborates with Health Cube Medical Clinics, a medical facility that provides outpatient health care. With this partnership, Hapinoy Negosyantes can now avail discounted consultation fees on selected services and procedures in Health Cube through the membership card.
As Ruiz recounted, “And so as a true partner, we firmly believe that we should take a very holistic approach in creating programs to our (Hapinoy) Negosyantes - not only do we want to cater to our Negosyantes’ livelihood needs, we also want to be able to cater to their healthcare needs.”
