Dreams are suspended. Plans have been changed. Everyone is busy surviving this crisis brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. Amidst challenges, life goes on for Filipinos. Know for being resilient, we look for opportunities to grow despite the hurdles this unprecedented event brings us.

Hapinoy shares its battle cry of Bangon Tindahan to different institutions that also aim to provide assistance to affected sari-sari store owners in the country. One of these is the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF). Through its Sari-sari Store Project, PDRF brought together Unilever, Smart Communications, and Coca-cola Philippines to pool support and opportunities for sari-sari store owners in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

Last October 2, 2020, Hapinoy, alongside PDRF and its partners, held an online orientation to provide the details of this project. The following are offered to the project beneficiaries:

  • P3, 000-worth of grocery grant from Unilever

  • Consignment of P3000 worth of Coca-cola products

  • One-time offer of P500 load + 5 Smart Sim + 5 TNT sim for only P500 from Smart Communications

Representatives from Unilever, Smart Communications, and Coca-cola Philippines, alongside PDRF and Sikap, organized an online orientation through Facebook live that was streamed in Samahang Hapinoy Facebook Group.

This project is still open for more beneficiaries. If you are a sari-sari store owner and you want to be part of this, register to Hapinoy now and get the chance to avail of these offers. Click https://bit.ly/2EZar4V to register.
